I had no time to do any posts this week so they are all coming up in a row beginning from today. Yesterday the weather was the worst it could be and I wasn’t feeling very well so we stayed in and at some point I think that was all I needed. Saturdays usually don’t count as weekends for me lately, they begin with a 8 o’clock rush out from bed, breakfast, pilates, hairdresser, tailor, dry cleaning, visiting parents, shopping for house, getting ready and going out. So they are kind of a different version of my weekdays, the only good thing is that I get to see my friends at night.

Below is what I wore this Tuesday, the weather was again very bad but luckily next week it will officially be spring in Istanbul. Easy looks such as this breezy pair of pants and simple knits are something that my wardrobe tries to avoid but at the same time desperately needs. They are not the most beautiful / original pieces but I just can’t think my wardrobe without them.

Butun hafta post yapmak icin hic zaman bulamadim bu yuzden hafta boyunca cektigimiz resimler bugun itibariyle post edilecekler. Dun hava daha kotu olamazdi ve ben kendimi cok iyi hissetmiyordum bu yuzden evde kalmayi tercih ettik; meger tek ihtiyacim olan oymus. Son zamanlarda Cumartesi gunleri benim icin haftasonundan cok kosturmali haftaici is gunlerim gibi geciyor. Sabah 8de yataktan firlayip kalkmalar, acele kahvaltilar, pilates, kuafor, kuru temizleyici, terzi, eve alisveris yap, annene babana git derken eve gelip hazirlanip anca kendimizi disari atiyoruz. Tek guzel yani tabii ki aksami arkadaslarimizla gecirebiliyor olmak. 

Bu Sali gunu giydiklerim oldukca kolaya kacilmis bir secim 🙂 Bu tarz pantolonlar aslinda genellikle almaktan kacindigimin ama dolabimin en ihtiyaci olan parcalari. En orijinal ve en guzel parcalari oldugunu soyleyemeyecegim ama bu kolay parcalar olmadan dolabimi dusunemiyorum.

Beymen Academia – my new obsession. The brand is returned to life after almost 20 years, and fulfills the gap of simple, clean, perfect quality clothing. Today I wore two pieces from the collection. After a tiring weekend, a leather skinny, jean shirt and lace up booties are fair enough to save the first workday of the week. Sometimes simple is the best isn’t it?

Beymen Academia uzun zamandir takintim olmus durumda. Marka neredeyse 20 yil sonra bir hazir giyim markasi olarak hayata dondu ve kaliteli, yalin, sade cizgiden hoslananlarin hayatinda buyuk bir boslugu doldurdu. Bugun Beymen Academia’ya ait 2 parca giydim. Yorucu bir haftasonundan yeni bir haftaya baslarken, deri tayt, guzel bir kot gomlek ve bagcikli deri botlar uzuuun bir pazartesi gununu kurtarmaya kesinlikle yeterli. Bazen sadelik en guzel sey, sizce de oyle degil mi?

I think I won’t even explain my obvious absence this time. 18 days before the big day. So, mine is more like an apology rather than a lame excuse. Anyways, most of the big things are kind of sorted out by now, like the decoration of the venue, guest list, invitations, music and etc. Ok I admit it, the girly influence in the wedding will be evident however I tried my best to make it something that Ahmet will also enjoy. Without pinky pinks and pompous objects, my venue will be cosy, fancy and chic WITHOUT looking palace-like. Serious business. So lets get back to the post, which I think will be the most irrelevant and worst qualified ever. // 😦 best I can do today. I am hoping to take more & better pictures soon. Bu sefer uzun yoklugumun sebebini aciklayamayacagim bile. Dugunden once son 18 gun. Yani benimki kotu bir bahaneden cok gecerli ve yeterli bir mazeret sayilabilir. Neyse ki dekorasyon, davetli listesi, muzik gibi bir suru buyuk detay halloldu gibi. Kabul ediyorum, dugunde kizsal dokunuslar bariz olacak ama Ahmet’in de keyif alabilecegi bir hale getirmek icin elimden geleni yaptim. Pembeleri, suslu satafatli objeleri bir kenara atip, sik, samimi ve modern bir dekorasyon yapmaya calisiyoruz. Tabii ki bu sirada salonun bir saray havasina burunmemesi ve bogucu olmamasi icin gosterdigimiz caba buyuk. Ciddi isler yani anlayacaginiz 🙂 Bu yuzden, su gune kadar yaptigim en alakasiz ve cabuk post’a gecelim. // 😦 bugunlerde yapabilecegimin en iyisiydi. Yakin zamanda daha kaliteli ve daha cok resim cekebilmeyi umuyorum. Son zamanlarda giydiklerimden bazilari…
