Even though I said I would make posts while I’m in London, the internet connection was very bad so I wasn’t able to do so. Anyway we had a very busy week, I don’t remember feeling more exhausted in my life. I literally don’t feel my feet. But it was worth it. We ordered my bridal, Ahmet’s tuxedo and I even bought my shoes! The only clue I can give about my bridal is that it’s from Vera Wang and it is LACE – I couldn’t imagine myself wearing anything else on my wedding day… Anyway, some days we couldn’t even have time and energy to go to dinner. I couldn’t take many photos, but I still have some. So let’s do it in order…
Londra’dayken de post yapacagimi soyledigimi biliyorum ama internet cok kotuydu ve cok yorucu bir hafta gecirdik. Cok fazla fotograf cekmeye vaktim olmadi, bazi gunler yemek yemeye bile vaktimiz ve enerjimiz kalmadi diyebilirim. Ama herseye degdi cunku en onemli iki isi hallettik bile. Ben gelinligimi ismarladim, Ahmet de damatligini aldi. Ben ayakkabilarimi bile aldim dusunun yani 🙂 Gelinligim Vera Wang’den ve hakkinda verebilecegim tek ipucu dantel olmasi – kendimi baska bir gelinlik icinde dusunemiyorum zaten. Neyse, sirasiyla fotograflara gecelim.
LONDON DAY 1:
Checked in our beautiful hotel, “The Langham” at nearly 5 a.m. Woke up at 8 a.m in the morning, had breakfast, went to Vera Wang bridal, then to Browns bridal, had dinner at Il Baretto. Of course we went to Liberty, Selfridges and Topshop during the day.
Muhtesem otelimiz “The Langham”a sabah 5te vardik, ertesi gun (3 saat sonra :)) 8’de uyandik, kahvalti edip Vera Wang’e, arkasindan Browns Bridal’a gittik, aksam Il Baretto’da yemek yedik. Tabii ki arada Liberty, Selfridge ve Topshop’a gittik – iki elimiz kanda olsa bile.
One of my best friends, Ayca had her birthday last week but we weren’t in London so we had a late celebration for her last night. We went to Oxo Tower restaurant near the river. I can’t say it was very good but it’s a perfect spot if you are a tourist and want to have dinner with London’s view on a top floor. Here are some photos of my outfit for that night.
En yakin arkadaslarimdan biri olan Ayca’nin gecen hafta dogumgunuydu ama Londra’da olmadigimizdan beraber kutlayamadik. Bu yuzden gecen hafta gec bir kutlama icin Oxo Tower Restaurant’a gittik. Cok guzel oldugunu soyleyemem ama bir turist olarak Londra manzarasiyla nehir kenarinda yemek yemek isterseniz cok uygun bir yer. Iste o aksamki kiyafetimin resimleri.

Today, after dinner we went to a bar we had never been before – Artesian Bar in The Langham Hotel. The bar’s decoration was very good (unfortunately we couldn’t take any photos of that) but not as good as it’s stylish cocktails! The cocktails we had today was not only DELICIOUS but they also looked adorable. It took them nearly 45 minutes to bring our cocktails and we were starting to wonder why it took so long. But when you see the pictures you’ll understand why. Apparently Artesian Bar turns “cocktail making” into an art.
Bugun yemekten sonra daha once Londra’da hic gitmedigimiz bir bara gittik – The Langham Hotel’in Artesian Bar‘i. Bari siddetle tavsiye ediyorum, herseyiyle cok guzeldi. Dekorasyon da cok guzeldi ama ne yazik ki fotograflarini cekemedik. Ama hicbir sey kokteylleri kadar guzel degildi. Kokteyller lezzetli olmalarinin yaninda inanilmaz gozukuyolardi. Ickilerimiz icin neden 45 dakikaya yakin bekledigimizi siz de resimleri gorunce anlayacaksiniz. Bu arada resimde bazi detaylar cikmamis, mesela Diamond Life kokteylinin yapraklari da limonu gibi simliydi. Artesian Bar kokteyl hazirlamayi bir sanata donusturmus. Tebrik ederiz:)

“Summer in Paris” – they had put real lavenders in the glass – how cool is that🙂
“Berry foolies” – smelled & looked & tasted amazing.
“Diamond Life” – unfortunately you can’t see the whole thing – it had glitters all over the lime & leaves. Between, that’s small pink rose put in the middle of the lime 🙂

You must go and drink in Artesian Bar if you are already a Londoner or just visiting the city:) When you see the cocktails in real you will know what I’m talking about.
